Ready Made Frames – These are built onsite from remainders of previous jobs and are priced very reasonably. The selection varies from day-to-day, and they come in standard sizes ranging from 5×7 to 16×20.

Art Gallery – BlackBird primarily features rotating exhibits of local artists, with emphasis on employees’ art. Yes, everyone who works at BlackBird is an artist! The styles and media employed are quite diverse but it’s all wonderful. We also occasionally feature work by famous artists. Most recently, we’ve had the honor to exhibit work by Dr. Suess, Yellow Submarine and Scoobie Doo animator Ron Campbell, and Black Mountain College artists including Josef Albers and Robert De Niro Sr.

Book Nook – Find your fine art books here, from classical to pop, movie-making to album covers. Select other volumes, including fiction, appear, too. Most books are new, but some used are available, all in excellent or like-new condition. We are a Taschen distributor and can order any item for you, including their hard-to-find limited editions and prints.
